The Acton Systems warranty is conditional on the installation
contractor fulfilling the obligations listed below:
(a) All installation work must be undertaken by an
ACA registered cabler, in accordance with the installation
and system design requirements of the edition of the
Australian/New Zealand cabling Standard AS/NZS 3080
current at the time.
(b) The system must consist of permanent links solely
constructed with Acton products or Acton approved products
that are within 12 months of manufacture and have never
been used before.
(c) The location and designation of all installed links
must be recorded on "as-built" floor plan
drawings and a copy of these Installation Records must
be supplied to the End User.
(d) Every installed link must be tested with a Level
IIe (or above) field tester with Category 5e basic link
limits or Class D:2000 permanent link limits. For each
link a Test Record, with the same link designations
as shown on the Installation Records, must be supplied
to the End User. Please see the Recognised
Testers site for a listing of accepted cable
testers.
(e) Within 15 business days of notification of a problem
with the system, the installation contractor must identify
the problem and notify Acton Systems if there is a potential
claim pursuant to the warranty.
